He contributed greatly to the development of network games in the Japanese market by inventing and developing the ‘mileage’ system and ‘gacha’ system that is now being used globally. Based on his achievements, he entered the mobile game market, and whilst at the major game company Sega, developed an online RPG called ‘Chain Chronicle’ that became a game changer during ushering in a prosperous time for social games.
He has held a wide range of important positions as a generalist, from debugging / CS to producing and marketing.
After creating an era at Sega Networks he is steadily building up a new career with his start-up KnockBack Works

He Joined ASCII Co., Ltd. after working at a game advertising agency.
He proposed and implemented advertising plans to clients using the company’s media.
ASCII Co., Ltd. became Enterbrain Co., Ltd. in 2000, and implemented projects mainly for Web media (Famitsu.com, Famitsu App, and etc.)
After the merger with KADOKAWA Co., Ltd., he was responsible for the planning and implementation of various advertising projects including video and general information media.
In 2015, he worked as a marketing planner at SEGA Games Co., Ltd., and in working on with Chain Chronicle, he was involved in regular programs of Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Radio as well as traffic advertisements, events, TV advertisements, and PR.
After working at Square Co., Ltd., DigiCube Co., Ltd., and Chunsoft Co., Ltd., he was President and Representative Director at GameOn Co., Ltd. He also held positions as Senior Executive Officer and General Manager of Business Administration Division at GungHo Online Entertainment Co., Ltd. and Representative Director at GRAVITY Co., Ltd.
He has served as President and CEO, and has a wealth of experience and achievements in the game business and entertainment industry totaling more than 20 years.
